A patient tracked me down online.

A woman tracked me down on Facebook.

I was scared to open the message.

My mind went straight to the worst-case scenario.

I opened it anyway.

It was a thank you.

She came into the ER late at night.

Ruptured breast implants.

She did not know if they were silicone or saline.

She did not know what came next.

She remembered one thing.

I treated her like a human.

I explained.

I listened.

I helped her breathe.

She wrote, Your kindness really put me at ease.

That line stays with me.

Because this is the gap I fight every day for women in menopause.

They are dismissed when they ask for help.

They are told to tough it out.

They walk around exhausted and foggy.

They feel invisible.

I built my practice so women for those women.

The ones who are dismissed when they describe hot flashes, brain fog, and mood swings.

Those trying every supplement but still feel awful.

Can’t sleep because they are anxious and sweaty.

That sucks.

And there’s a better way.

If this is your reality.

Send me a message so you don’t have to go it alone.

Rooting for you,

Dr. Beckford
