I have sat across from women who have been symptomatic for years.

Years of broken sleep.

Years of anxiety they did not recognize as their own.

Years of walking out of appointments with nothing that actually helped.

When I ask why they waited so long, the answer is almost always the same.

I didn’t know I was allowed to ask for more.

These are not passive women.

These are executives. Business owners. Women running entire households.

Women who advocate fiercely for everyone except themselves.

You are allowed to push back.

You are allowed to ask for a referral.

You are allowed to walk out of one office and into another until someone actually listens.

This episode is your permission slip.

And your roadmap.

What’s in the News

Something historic just happened for women seeking hormone therapy.

In February 2026, the FDA officially approved labeling changes removing the black box warnings from hormone replacement therapy products.

These warnings had been in place since 2003.

For more than two decades they shaped how doctors thought about HRT and how willing they were to prescribe it.

The FDA’s comprehensive review found the original warnings overstated the risks.

Especially for women who begin hormone therapy within 10 years of menopause onset or before age 60.

This is part of why so many women have been dismissed.

Part of why the conversation has been harder than it needed to be.

The science has been updated.

The labels are now catching up.

This is not a free pass. Your personal risk profile still matters deeply.

But it is a significant step toward women getting accurate information and individualized care.

NEW EPISODE: How Do I Get HRT? And How Do I Find a Doctor Who Listens?

This is one of the most common questions I receive.

And one of the most frustrating.

Because it should not be this hard.

This episode is for you if:

You have been trying to get answers and keep hitting walls.

You left your last appointment feeling unheard.

You are not sure if you are asking for too much.

You are not asking for too much.

In this episode I walk you through everything.

The difference between HRT and MHT and why it matters.

How to find a menopause-literate provider, including exactly where to look.

What to bring to your appointment and how to open the conversation.

What to say if you are dismissed.

And when it is absolutely time to find someone new.

Download it and listen this week.

Then reply and tell me. Have you ever been dismissed when asking about hormone therapy?

I want to hear your story.

If you know a woman who keeps hitting walls.

Send this episode to her. It could change everything.
